Orff-Schulwerk approach, which primarily adopts the “human education” principle, makes great contribution to grow individuals of quality as required by today’s society with qualities such as creativity, socialization, collective product generating and self-confidence. Orff-Schulwerk enters in the world of children through games, rhymes, songs, movements, dance, drama and specially prepared Orff instruments and creates a sound basis to start music and reach higher levels.
Orff-Schulwerk course for adults is a course embracing music teachers, pre-school teachers, class teachers, school counsellors, students having education in relevant faculties and everyone who is interested in this field and who wishes to discover oneself musically. Fundamental principles of Orff-Schulwerk are discovered through practices with games, songs, dances and instruments. The course provides an artistic and creative touch to musical, bodily, personal improvement processes of participants and presents tips with regards to “why and “how” this implementation shall be performed with children.
On the “Sharing Days” held on monthly basis and open for everyone teachers who are active in the field and interested in Orff-Schulwerk share the games, songs, dances they have performed with the children.
